Jungle Fever comes to Portishead!


Journey through the forests of India with award-winning theatre group Portishead Young Players who present an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s infamous tale, The Jungle Book, this March.

When young Mowgli is separated from his people the animals who befriend him strive to teach him the laws of the jungle before one of the most evil villains that ever lived, tiger Shere Khan, invites him for dinner.

Well-known characters include Baloo the bear and Kaa the snake who combine with a fresh take and new songs to deliver a foot-tapping spectacular sure to delight the whole family.

Performances are Thursday 1st to Saturday 3rd March at the Somerset Hall, Portishead High Street. Evening shows commence 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee starting at 2.00pm.
