We offer several types of membership to suit all our members

​

Adults 18 years old and older

1. Patron Members – for a subscription of £50 or more you can select the same seat for a chosen performance for each production. Your ticket will be emailed to you.

2. Member - a subscription of £40 includes a seat at a performance for each production.

3. Family Membership – for a subscription of £110 we offer a family membership. This is designed for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 years old. Children who are already members of PYPs and MiniPYPs can be included in a Family Membership. Other children become Junior Members. 

4. Junior and Student Members - people aged under 18 can become Junior Members and those 18 and over who are in full time education can become Student members. Junior and Student Member subscription is £30.  
    

Show Tickets

All members, except Patron Members, must go to Nortech Computers at the corner of High Street and Cabstand to select their ticket/performance for their free ticket. Nortech are now open on Saturdays. At the same time, you can purchase tickets for your family and friends. All members and Patrons have early access to booking tickets for themselves, family and friends.

Children Under 18 years old 
 We offer 3 ways children can be members.

1. MiniPYPs and PYPs– Please do not use this system to join or pay subscriptions. Instead, for children aged 7 to 10 please contact Cate Hill at minipyps@hotmail.com, while for children in school years from 6 to 13 please contact Caroline Edwards at portisheadyoungplayers@hotmail.com for current vacancies. If a place is available, they will enroll the child and instruct you how to pay the subscription.

2. People under 18 years old helping backstage generally must be at least 16 years old and have completed school year 11. If helping for more than one show they need to be Junior Members (subscription of £30).
    

Single Show Members Adults and Junior 

A Single Show membership is available for adults (£20) and Juniors (under 18 years - £10) to enable participation in one show, either on stage or backstage. No free tickets are available, nor can Single Show Members vote at AGMs or stand for a post as an officer or Committee member.
